Cary Funk is a social researcher with expertise using quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, focus groups and experimental design to drive insights about people’s attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.

She is a past research director at Pew Research Center where she led the strategic planning, design, and execution of research on the social, ethical, and policy implications of science for society. She holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
